Okay, after I tried for hours to get this fairly-crappy video to work, Bryan figured it out. I can only assume he used magic.
Birchbox is a really awesome company I recently heard about; you subscribe to them for $10 a month and they send you a box of fancy, deluxe beauty samples. Each month you get brand new things, and you never know what you're going to get. You make a beauty profile that helps determine skin and hair needs, but the rest is a surprise. It's a really good deal, and if you like to try out new things, and get surprises in the mail... well, Birchbox is pretty much crack.
Here is the video review I made for the October 2011 Birchbox:
Just to give you a rundown on what these samples would cost normally, if they weren't from Birchbox (I figured it out by finding out how much the full size cost, then figuring out price per ounce):
Redken shine flash 02 glistening mist - $7.70
Pangea Organics Facial Scrub - $8.40
Blinc Mascara - $16
Befine BeLips: Lip Exfoliator - $12.50
Tea Forte Mints - $3.30
Total - $47.90
Now, I'm a total bargainista, so there's no way I'd pay $47.90 for that stuff. But I would DEFINITELY pay $10. I would recommend Birchbox to people with a little extra cash who like trying new things without committing to a full-price, full-size product.
